Review: Radhe Shyam

I want to know if the ideas left the room when this movie started filming. There are so many moments where you have to either accept that the plot doesn’t exist or just chalk it up to the characters not being fully there in the head. This movie leaves you with so many questions, but don’t worry, because none of them will get answered.   PLOT - 3 Radhe Shyam is a period romance drama about Vikram Aditya, the single best palmist to ever live, and Prerna, a doctor who rarely spends a day working. The two happen to meet “against fate” at a train station, and the movie is doomed from that point on. The main characters have very little chemistry. There are very few, if any, moments where their relationship feels real. The plot, similarly, doesn’t feel real. There are really only three big plot points in this movie. Summary: Nani's Gang Leader

As of the last few weeks of the school year, I have now suddenly gotten into Indian Cinema and I cannot express the substantial amount of joy it brings me to watch these movies. Like why have I never seen more than two of these before this recent decision of mine? And now my list is like 93 movies long! (I don't have a problem, it's fine :D) Anyways, today's movie: Gang Leader starring Nani Part of me doesn't even know where to start with this. This movie was great, it just requires a tad bit more suspension of belief than I expected when I started the movie. All Indian movies require more suspension of belief than normal, but like this one REALLY does. I can understand why that would make it hard to get into but it's so worth it, in my humble opinion. So here's the thing, when the movie starts with a high stakes bank robbery scene where one of the robbers shoots and kills the other five and steals all the money for himself, I'm expecting an Ocean's 11 t...

 Rating System Breakdown My ratings consist of three categories my thoughts on the premise, story line and plot (50%); my thoughts on the characters and their interactions with each other (25%); and how much I enjoyed the content itself (25%). For visual media, if the art and sound is really impressive, that goes into the enjoyment category. Since the story is the most important part of the content, my score for that category holds the most weight. Below is the scoring scale and what each number means.
